Red carpet, exceptional dishes, live mariachi shows, a traditional trajinera floating on the lagoon, and fireworks were some of the elements that made up the perfect evening on July 6th at Porfirio’s Cancun´s 8th anniversary. We witnessed the excitement and joy as we celebrated this special and commemorative date with over 500 guests. The event was simply spectacular!
Throughout the evening, we had multiple surprises for our guests. It started with a live mariachi show with fireworks on a floating trajinera on the iconic Nichupté Lagoon. The explosions of colors illuminated the night sky and kicked off the entertainment for the unforgettable evening.
The night continued with a live demonstration of alebrijes, wonderful and fantastic creatures full of life, with its origins dating back to the Oaxacan culture. The synergy of the alebrijes’ movements with the rhythms echoing throughout the restaurant turned the whole place into their stage.
And to end the night on a high note: a calenda parade and a performance by Antonio Banderas. The atmosphere was filled with applause, laughter, and dance, marking the close of an unparalleled night.
