About Casa Dragones

Casa Dragones, a tequila brand from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, is a benchmark of excellence and sophistication. Founded in 2009 by Bertha González Nieves, the first woman certified as a “Tequila Maestra” by the Mexican Academy of Tequila Tasters, this house has shown a constant commitment to innovation and modern, sustainable production. Their goal is to surprise and captivate tequila enthusiasts, and they do so through exceptional products of the highest quality.

Initially, Casa Dragones only produced one blend, ‘Tequila Casa Dragones Joven,’ but in 2014, they launched ‘Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco.’ Their latest release, ‘Tequila Casa Dragones Barrel Blend,’ was introduced in June 2020. In 2022, Casa Dragones premiered its fourth version, Casa Dragones Reposado Mizunara.

The Winning Cocktail: “Mumbles”

The mixology competition organized by Grupo Anderson’s brought together our talented bartenders and mixologists to compete and create a true masterpiece. Among the brilliant creations, “Mumbles” emerged as the winner. This surprising cocktail was created by Jhair García, the master mixologist at Mantela restaurant.

“Mumbles” is an exquisite blend of Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco, a delicate touch of cucumber syrup, the freshness of yellow lemon juice, the sparkle of ginger beer, and the unmistakable freshness of mint and cucumber.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy three exceptional cocktails: “Mumbles,” “Dragones de Allende,” and “Ágata.” These creations, which competed with passion in the contest, are now part of our exclusive drink menu. Delight in these creations at CAO, Fred’s, Harry’s, Porfirio’s, Erizo, Ilios, and Nicoletta until December 31.
