Nogadita: the cocktail that exists for only a few weeks a year

There are cocktails enjoyed year-round, and others that make sense only during a very specific season. The Nogadita belongs to this latter group.

A cocktail crafted for the occasion

Created exclusively for the Chile en Nogada Festival, the Nogadita combines Don Julio 70, walnut water, dehydrated apple, and powdered nutmeg. Every ingredient points in the same direction: the walnut flavor that defines this time of year—a flavor also found in the *nogada* sauce accompanying the chile en nogada dish itself.

The dish’s natural companion

Served alongside the *chile en nogada*—whether battered or unbattered—the Nogadita acts as a liquid extension of the recipe. The sweetness of the dehydrated apple and the warm touch of nutmeg harmonize directly with the *nogada* sauce without competing with it.

Available for a limited time only

The Nogadita is served exclusively from July 15 to September 30 as part of the Chile en Nogada Festival. After that date, you will have to wait until the next season to taste it again.
Some drinks are best enjoyed with the knowledge, from the very first sip, that they won’t be around all year long.
