Porfirio's Torta

On Mexico City street corners, the torta stand is a must. Ours arrives in its own miniature stand, with little stools and pickled chilies served in a molcajete.

Street-Style Trompo al Pastor

Heir to the capital’s taquerias, trompo al pastor is the king of the Mexican night. It arrives at your table on its own spit, with pineapple, onion, cilantro, lime and salsa to build your tacos.

The Big Rib Eye El Sancho

Inspired by weekend cookouts in northern Mexico, it arrives on its red Carnes El Sancho grill, with baby potatoes and salsas on the side.

Beef Tenderloin Caña

Inspired by Puebla’s talavera tiles, it arrives on its own brazier: beef tenderloin seared to order over potatoes, with our house sauce.

Rib Eye Huarache

Born in Mexico City’s markets, the huarache is named after its sandal shape. Ours sails in on a Xochimilco trajinera, with rib eye and pickled onion.

The treat everyone loves at Mexico’s fairs and kermesses. We serve them freshly made, with sugar and dipping sauces, in their orange-awning cart.
